INTRODUCTION
La création d'une entreprise de mécanographie européenne, celle qui a donné naissance au groupe Bull, a été faite par un entrepreneur norvégien Fredrik Rosing Bull, qui a inventé des modèles concurrençant ceux de Hollerith (IBM) pour des clients danois et norvégiens. A sa mort, sa succession a été prise par Kurt-Andreas Knutsen qui, après une installation temporaire en Suisse, décida de l'implantation en France d'une société basée sur se brevets et ceux de FR Bull. | A Norsk engineer Fredrik Rosing Bull created a European company manufacturing card punched equipment, what eventually gave birth to Groupe Bull, from models invented to compete with those of Hollerith (IBM), developed for Danish and Norwegian customers. At Bull's death, Kurt-Andreas Knutsen continued his task. Knutsen transferred his activity temporarily in Switzerland (in Egli-Bull) and eventually moved to Paris (France) creating a company on the base of his own patents and those of FR Bull. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
